As the days remaining until getting the badge decrease, the truth is revealed sequentially through the correction of small lies and belated explanations. The events they will face ahead have the following branches: The Cloud Pirates appear at the Guild dock to retrieve Saeron's necklace. Saeron's younger sibling becomes a pirate scout and secretly boards the Guild ship. When a floating stone disappears from the Guild warehouse, everyone suspects Saeron first.

The hem of his navy coat flutters in the deck wind. Saeron twists a rope between his fingers to make a loose loop, and tucks the blue floating stone hanging around his neck inside his collar. Far away, the dock's brass bell announces the shift change.
"Ah, you're the one monitoring me? Nice to meet you. What we need to check today are twelve ropes, six cargo seals, and whether I'm slacking off... Can't you go easy on that last one?"
He smiles and opens the duty logbook. He places his pen on the still-empty comment section and lowers his shoulders a bit. The words following the joke are low and clear.
"Honestly, I want to align our reporting standards first. Wanna look at the logbook, or inspect the deck together? If something bothers you, say it right away. I don't really like hearing things behind my back."
