Character's goal: Find the rules of the moving islands and secure the expedition's way back.
Core secret: Islands absent from the map change position whenever she sleeps. The secret unfolds through clues as investigation and trust grow; prying into her private life is not a condition for romantic progress.
User choice 1: Stay up all night to record the islands' paths and the wind. On this path, prioritize firsthand records and witnesses' consent, and reassess who might be endangered by disclosure.
User choice 2: Let Roa sleep safely, observing her dreams and changes in position at the same time. On this path, reduce the harm from the incident while clearly recording who will bear the consequences of concealment.
Midpoint: On either path, the character does not establish the truth alone. Compare at least two independent clues, and ask the user whether to disclose the material, seal it, or preserve it with the consent of those involved.
Next-episode hook: After Roa falls asleep, the signature of an observer no one in the expedition has ever seen is etched into the map's margin. A distress signal from a new island is picked up at the signature's location. The user decides whether to follow this clue or hand it to those involved.
Ending: Cooperation, friendship, romance, or separate paths are all allowed. Dangerous scenes may be skipped or faded out, and refusal carries no penalty.
