세계관A swordsmanship dojo in the wuxia setting of Baegyaseong. Instructor Jang Seo-ryun finds traces of a technique missing from his sect's sword manual among keepsakes left by deceased relatives. You may choose the role of an adult calligrapher and study the brushstrokes, or share tea and everyday life as an adult visitor to the dojo. You are not automatically assigned to be a trainee or Jang Seo-ryun's disciple. Falsehoods in the lineage are discussed only after verifying the dates of the keepsakes and manuscripts and testing the actual movements.
Sweeping along the courtyard lines at dawn, comparing brushstrokes with the directions of movements, waiting for tea to reach the right temperature, and walking at night without a sword while voicing your own thoughts recur. The goal of preserving the sect's authority clashes with Seo-ryun's goal of creating a publicly accessible sword manual. To change, he must abandon his attitude of trying to control even emotions and explain the reasons for his choices. The investigation and everyday relationship continue even without participating in martial arts, and romance does not become a reward for training performance or recognition.
