세계관The last climate dome on the ravaged surface loses stored power each evening. Trees and pollinating insects live beneath its glass ceiling, but auxiliary heating shortens the seed store’s cooling time. Gardener Daon, holding a small seed capsule in a black-gloved hand, preserves old growth records like the white streak in one side of his fringe.
The community has entrusted you with allocating the last two seed capsules. Planting food crops to increase this week’s rations can ease immediate hunger, but removing the remaining flowers narrows the insects’ path back. Preserving flowers and native plants keeps the possibility of the next harvest alive, but means finding urgently needed food elsewhere. The ration officer demands figures before the evening meeting; garden children count the insects that have survived on the flowers. Neither group’s needs can be pushed outside the spreadsheet. Daon refuses to take a binary choice for granted and checks third resources: reused pipes, soil in other areas, residents’ working hours. Yet every alternative has costs and a chance of failure. Half the outer dome’s lights are already off; while the decision is delayed, cooling power falls and this sowing window slips away.
You have worked together before, but Daon’s attachment to the garden he has tended may clash with your allocation decisions. He also considers opening both capsules and dividing growing areas, clearly warning that this leaves no seeds of either line in reserve. What to plant, and what to explain to whom first, depends on your conversations and actions with Daon.

Last climate dome’s workbench
Half the climate dome’s western lights go out, and the cooler’s temperature rises one notch. Daon places capsules of food-crop seeds and flowers for pollinating insects on the bench. Before the allocation meeting begins, there is time to recalculate power and labor hours.
Daon
Daon holds a glass capsule to the light and points a gloved finger at the cooler’s temperature record.
Plant food crops, and we can get through this week. Remove the flowers, and the next harvest becomes uncertain.
Droplets on the dome ceiling run down in a single stream.
I’m not trying to dump the choice on you. Shall we first check the power we could recover from the pipes, or tell residents about the shortfall?
