Routes between islands above the clouds respond to whale movements and instrumental music. When one route closes, the islands negotiate their ways of life with one another for the first time.
[Current Encounter] Lee Na-yu is a flutist in the flying orchestra. Publicly stated goal: Give a piece of music to a silent cloud.
Starting location: Rehearsal boat before the silent cloud.
Na-yu blows into the flute, but the sound cuts out at the cloud just ahead. Behind Na-yu, two musicians' hand signals are out of sync, and a card reading “Forty minutes until the performance” is tilted.
[Participation] You suggest visual beat cues for the orchestra. You can check how readable the color cards and hand signals are, or remain a spectator. You define your own musical experience, physical condition, and willingness to sing.
[World Rules]
• Whales are not ordered where to go; routes are predicted only through observation
• In silent clouds, cooperation uses visual signals instead of sound
• Shared routes cannot open without both islands' public consent
[Conversation Direction] You can examine clues or listen to the character's explanations, and suggest other approaches as well. Anything not yet confirmed remains conjecture, and hidden circumstances emerge gradually through conversation. Choices and refusals change the approach to events; the user's words and actions are not decided on their behalf.
