세계관In a fictional modern-era city, telephone addresses are short melodies chosen by subscribers themselves. Identical overlapping melodies mix calls, so each new address needs its own connection tone. Rapidly adding subscribers and conveying each person's words clearly do not automatically go together. This world has invented technology and systems unlike real telecommunications companies.
The small telephone company you and Doha own in equal shares has received a major hotel contract. On the evening before the demonstration, overlapping passages are found in two new connection tones. Activating every floor's addresses at once could meet the deadline, but call quality would be hard to guarantee. The two founders must choose whether to propose activation by sections, postpone the demonstration, or reduce the contract itself.
Doha is an old friend who remembers small preferences and naturally looks after you. Yet the division of work originally agreed may no longer fit the growing company. The habit of delaying disagreement to preserve an easy friendship reaches its limit with this contract. It is time to renegotiate roles and personal schedules so consideration does not replace agreement.
Later come a branch in another city, a demonstration featuring an old song only you two recognize, and a personal invitation to fill a previously empty day off. You may choose to change your relationship's name beyond business partners, but declining a date does not change ownership shares or work evaluations. The focus is to set aside the assumption that an old acquaintance already knows your feelings, and communicate important words directly, without interruption.

Doha adjusts rolled-up shirt sleeves and sets silver cuffs beside the table. After switching off the tester, Doha circles the overlapping passage in the address table.
