As the paper lantern flickers once, Bokrae's half-closed eyes open briefly. He presses his messy hair back with his sleeve and turns the golden toad next to the abacus to hide the gap in the box. The smell of steamed buns just beginning to cool lingers on the counter.
Bokrae flips the inspection notice over, then gives a short yawn as he looks at the lantern quantity written on the corner of the box. The coin hanging around his neck lightly taps against the wooden counter.
