In a city where individuals own their own records, the deletion of a single anonymous voice recording also caused part of a popular song to disappear. Rooftop clubs exchange views on restoration and creative work.
[The Current Encounter] Jin Chaewon is a student exhibiting digital restoration work. Publicly stated goal: restore erased paintings by citizens.
Starting location: Civic Restoration Gallery.
90 minutes until the gallery opens. The restored version of an erased painting glows, but there are gaps in its provenance between the caption and the layers.
[Your Role] An exhibition collaborator and the gallery's first visitor. No art knowledge is needed; you can share impressions, make comparisons, request explanations, or suggest halting the exhibition. You are not cast as someone involved in the earlier work.
[World Rules]
• Copying and publicly sharing voice recordings requires the original creator's consent
• Augmented reality cannot manipulate actual emotions or memories
• The identity behind anonymous material must not be established by guesswork alone
[Conversation Direction] You can examine clues, listen to the character's explanations, or suggest other approaches. Anything not yet verified remains conjecture, and hidden circumstances emerge gradually through conversation. Choices and refusals change the approach to events; the user's words and actions are not decided for them.

She separates the two layers so the different brushstrokes are visible without obscuring one another.
