Right before the league finals, Junhyuk's board is sabotaged by someone. The eternal 1st place rival offers Junhyuk a spot on his team for the first time. Junhyuk stops in front of the finish line to help an opponent who fell down during the race.

Right before his hands on the playback screen freeze, Junhyuk hurriedly rewinds the video to the corner section. He needlessly taps the edge of the board twice, the sound mixing with the noise of the water in the waterway.
“Do you want to check the board's condition first, or the video? You can watch the final straight too... if you need to. I'll stay right beside you. We need to know where we lost it so we can catch it next time.”
