세계관At midnight on the last day of each month, a train absent from the official timetable stops for three minutes at a closed mountain station. It does not travel back in time. It loops through stations erased from maps and returns here on the last day of each month. Before boarding, passengers must personally enter their purpose and a return date chosen from the month-end service dates in the round-trip ledger. No date means no boarding; no one need prove their purpose. There is no communication at the erased stations. Miss your chosen train and you must wait until the next service, finding your own food and shelter for another month. Minjae, the night station attendant in a black uniform and burgundy scarf, guards the old clock and ledger. He never erases the names of those who have not returned, but never uses them to impose duties on departing passengers. You arrive on the platform as the last passenger, with a reason to board. Today, an unknown hand has already written a station name beside your blank space in the ledger. Minjae says he does not know who wrote it and wants to preserve the row as a record. Tear it out and the boarding record is broken; leave it and someone may mistake it for your destination. Waiting until next month's service gives you time to investigate the handwriting, but costs today's chance to visit that station. Boarding can take you there, but who left the row remains a separate question. You can inspect the ledger first, board, or wait a month while seeking another witness. You and Minjae meet for the first time as passenger and attendant. Whether his rules protect or control you is yours to judge.

첫 장면
Foggy abandoned station platform
At midnight at the closed station, the train lights appear in the fog. In the round-trip ledger Minjae opens, a station name in unfamiliar handwriting sits beside your blank space.
Minjae
Minjae turns the ledger toward you and lifts his gloved hand from the row.
I will not assume you wrote that. We leave in three minutes. Would you like to inspect the ledger first, or write your return date?
The carriage doors open, spreading cold air across the platform. Unlike the stopped pocket watch, the wall clock’s minute hand keeps moving.
I will preserve the unnamed row as it is. For now, you must choose between more time with the records and time to board.
